Nightcrawler

Emerging from his circus upbringing, agile German mutant Kürt Wagner, or Nightcrawler, was recruited by Professor Xavier to join the X-Men’s second iteration. Devoted and selfless, Nightcrawler’s teleportation leaves a signature purple fog and “Bamf” sound due to air displacement. He’s also adept at shadow invisibility and wall-crawling, akin to Spider-Man. His yellow eyes grant night vision, and his prehensile tail aids in gripping and hanging. Crafted by Len Wein and Dave Cockrum, Nightcrawler is Mystique’s blue-skinned mutant son.
